An Expert Opinion

Well, everyone always says T looks "exactly" like Mark...guess you were all wrong! Woohoo!
Maybe it's just the pasty white skin that kicks it over in my favour! :o)

A Little Bit of This A Little Bit of That

Not much going on these days...trying to get T indoctrinated into the ways of Lost...Watching her play with her favourite part of the awesome Christmas presents she got...And just watching her be cute...
Although it is getting harder to get cute pictures since she insists on scrunching up her nose in every shot!! She's starting to attempt to crawl, but it's really more just a sticking her bum up in the air and hanging out that way for a bit...works for me since I don't have to chase after her yet! Once she starts moving I'll just have to feed her even more food to try to compensate for the calories she'll burn off! Who knew we'd get little miss skinny for a kid? Certainly not us!

We Are Family

Awhile back, we decided that we should document the fact that we're no longer a couple, but a family of three. So off to the photographers we went!! It wasn't too painful although Mark has put his foot down and will not allow me to post some of the final results...they are definitely more painful for us, since they would probably give readers a good, hearty laugh or two!

We wanted most of the pictures to be of T, but we did get a couple family shots and a few Mommy/T and Daddy/T shots.

Unfortunately, T had just entered her "look at my tongue" phase, full swing...so for many of her shots she decided to show the world her tongue! Oh well, what's a tongue when you're sporting a mighty mohawk anyway?

Last Christmas

Okay, so it was really her first Christmas, but who doesn't love Wham??
T had a very nice Christmas! She was a good little traveller. Especially with the diversion to Salt Lake City and the very long night at the airport. We didn't get to the hotel until 3:30AM and she was such a trooper! Everyone on the plane kept telling us how good she was and how they couldn't believe how smiley and flirtatious she was at such a late hour. I guess she didn't inherit my late night grumpiness!!
She did finally lose it at the tail end of the drive from SLC to Idaho Falls, but once we got her into Grandpa's car she fell asleep and had herself a nice, long nap.
The best things about T's Christmas is that she did not get the flu that everyone else had. For that I am grateful. She did get a runny/stuffy nose, but that is much better than flu.
T got to see all of her cousins and aunts and uncles while we were in Idaho. It took her a few days to adjust to the level of noise and number of people, but since she spends most days in the house with just me...I am sure she was a little bewildered by it all! She always had someone to watch or listen to and her cousins were always quick to make her smile. Connor and Wyatt sure brought out her biggest smiles!
Once we got back from Idaho we packed her up again and drove to Fargo for a quick visit with my parents and younger sister over New Years. Auntie Lisa hadn't seen T since she was 4 weeks old, so there was a bit of a change!
When we got home again, we had our own little Christmas here and discovered T's love of all things tissue paper. She was much more interested in the wrapping than in the gifts. If only I'd known, I would have bought her a pack of tissue paper!!
I think she had a good Christmas, I'm sure she loves everything she got, even if Mom did throw away all that fun paper!!
