This One's For You Lisa!

I could be all witty and organized and post a bunch of entries, but the truth is I am lazy, the boy doesn't let me have a lot of me time and well...I'm just lazy.
So here are some pictures from the last little while, with maybe a few words here and there!

Our little Pippi!

sibling play
Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!
This is what happens during quiet time. It is her church dress (the red) with some new pj's she got...
and the shorts we couldn't see.
 Truman's Sunday best.
 Sibling Love.

Good Times with Daddy

And here's a few giggles.

The Kids

Alright, so I suppose I should write a few words on these cuties of mine....
Tennyson
- she is a ball of energy, always running, talking, keeping busy
- she loves Cars.  Her sticker book, the movie...she plays with them all day, they come in the car with us, to bed with her (and no, she doesn't have any cars figurines - they are her "friends)
- she loves Toy Story (see above info on Cars)
- every day we are blown away by her memory.  She remembers everything!  Stores we've been to once, restaurants we've eaten at, the dry cleaners, things Grandparents did when they were here.  We routinely shake our heads at what comes out of her mouth.
- she loves to ask questions about everything.  We're not such huge fans of this!
- she makes Truman laugh like no one else.
- she is a great helper.  She always helps try to keep Truman happy, she will get toys for him, she puts her toys away, she helps with the laundry, pretty much anything we ask her, she will help (not always the first time, but usually).
- she loves picking out her own clothes now...luckily I can still sway her so that she doesn't walk out of the house with her pink pants and purple polka dot shirt on.
- she loves playing with friends
- the wii is her new obsession.  She loves to make Miis, play Just Dance (kids, or big kids), Wheel of Fortune and boxing.
- still a great eater.  We can't usually get her to stop eating.  She has only ever said she doesn't like two foods: lettuce and mushrooms (which she eats, so...?)
- she starts preschool in September and every time we drive past a bus she says "That's my school bus Mom!".  She won't take a bus, but we oblige her.
- she loves going to the gym with Daddy and playing in the kids place.  She loves it even more when Daddy takes her swimming.
Tennyson is a great kid and loves her brother more than we thought was possible!  She always asks, "When Truman gets bigger, he can play with me?"  We do have "Terrible Two" moments but we are working on those.  We love this kid!

Truman (7 months)
- he is a rolling, scooting machine!  Man this kid can move!  He gets up on to his knees and rocks but hasn't quite figured out the proper crawl yet, but that doesn't stop him from getting around.
- he is an eater.  Rice cereal, veggies, fruit, puffs, yogurt melts...anything we will let him get his hands on.  The boy hasn't met a food he doesn't like!
- he has two bottom teeth and one top tooth has just poked through (good times).
- he is a good sleeper and will usually get himself to sleep, even if he has to cry a little (finally!)
- he loves to watch the wii when we play.  He will be mesmerized forever by it!
- he doesn't like it when everyone leaves the room, even if we just go up two steps to the kitchen
- he is a definite momms'a boy.
- LOVES his sister.  Everywhere she goes he watches her, laughs at her, smiles when she comes into the room and talks to him.
- has a short attention span with toys.
- a wee bit on the grumpy side, making some days a little difficult.  Not much gets done on these days, but that's okay, we play on these days.
- loves being held, but really only by Mommy and sometimes Daddy (we are working on that)
- has crazy hair
- has the BEST smile ever
- not a super vocal baby unless he is mad or Mommy walks out of the room
- seems to have an affinity for Curious George (or just Tennyson's George game)
- enjoys chewing on strings (sweatshirt strings, pull strings on toys)
- is going to be a trouble maker and get into everything
- a fantastic little member of our family
