This was just a laid back, no real plans sort of vacation. So when the weather decided to be cool, cloudy and rainy, it was no big deal. Thankfully we were wise and chose the hotel based on it's water park coolness!
Everyone seemed to have a good time. Lots of fun was had, lots of food eaten, and minimal mischief was caused. Only one of the two pool evacuations (that we knew about) was because of one of our kids...!
Just a random moose on the street...
And a random monkey...
Walking down Canal Park
Checking out the lighthouse and scenery along the way
a little windy that day
Gooseberry Falls
Labour inducing stairs
checking out the train museum while waiting for our train ride
train ride!!
Swimming! (I finally remembered to bring my camera down the last day)
I think Tennyson would have been happy to stay in the water park all day every day, but with the weather and the holiday weekend, it was super busy at times. A little too busy/crazy for little kids. We may need to throw this girl in swimming lessons and get her a pass to a pool. She doesn't like to get her hair washed, but she's like a fish in a pool. Go figure. It was a fun time, nice to get away and relax. Even if most mornings the kids were up before 7AM, after going to bed hours later than usual! Yay for Duluth!
