Road Trip

We embarked on the first long car trip since young T was about three months...I'm not sure we'll be doing it again anytime soon!  Ok, so it wasn't THAT bad, but it is definitely nice when the kids are old enough to stick their noses in front of a movie and have them be entertained.
Anyway, we had a nice trip, short, but nice.  The kiddies got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Jenne and Chancers (boy is that dog patient).
Not a lot of pictures were taken but here are a few for what it's worth!

Snippety Snip

So I bit the bullet and decided to get the boy his first haircut.  We waited two years before big T got her first haircut, but I figured by then little T would just look like cousin It.

I promise his hair isn't cut all crooked and uneven...it's just when ti dries, it starts to stick up and out, so some pieces looks longer than others!  I swear this kid has the craziest hair.  I think he might be in for a life of a crew cut.
And since we were cutting hair Miss T decided she needed a haircut...so it could grow long like Rapunzel's.  Not sure how she came to that conclusion.

We just cleaned up the ends.  I don't think T or her Dad would have been ready for an actual haircut!  But she was happy with it, and she got a lollipop too..perfect day!

When you have an almost 70 degree, what would be better than eating smoothie pops on the deck?

One of THOSE Days

Poor kid...the week is only a few days old and he has had run ins 2 out of 3 days!  Monday, somehow, he split something in his mouth and gushed blood for what seemed, forever.  I still don't know how it happened.  Today he was trying to stand up in the hall and fell, scraping his face against the air return vent.  What will happen tomorrow??  Nothing, hopefully!
