With this early of a start she'll be rocking her own pair before I know it!
Let's face it, no one wants to hear about the parents. All they want are the kids, pictures of the kids to be exact. So here you go, all kids, all the time. Kind of like one of those cable news channels with a 24/7 ticker along the bottom.

15 months
It's a little tough to get this kid to sit still for more than half a second, but I
think we were able to come out with some good shots. There are definitely some "Tennyson" faces/poses in the bunch! (I tried to organize them but blogger doesn't seem to be liking me too much today)
Thanks Tatum for the pictures!!

Word Up
Tennyson, as mentioned before, is a regular chatterbox. Unfortunately, she doesn't really talk too much to other people. Well, she jabber on in her own little language, but she won't say real words to many people. I was able to finally get her to sit for a minute and let me tape her repeating the words!! There are a couple more she'll say, but I was already pressing my luck getting her to say these few!!
Enjoy!

Dog Days
September's been a slow month...no fun trips or outings (well T doesn't count shopping as fun), just Doctor's appointments and a few trips to the park. October doesn't seem like it will be that exciting either, except for Halloween, if we can decide what T should dress up as. Too much thinking for my brain right now! Here's a couple recent random pictures.
Nothing like hanging around in your pj's.
It's never too early to start appreciating shoes (or just playing with them).
Jabber-wocky
T is a little jabber-er. All day long jabber, jabber, jabber. We have no idea what she is saying but she is definitely having a conversation about something with you! Sometimes she gets real serious and stares deep into your eyes while she talks. When it's something really important, she'll put her hand up, in a stop like motion, and keep it there until she is done talking.
She will say some actual words like puppy, baby, night-night, ball, bubble, hi, mama and dada (although she won't actually call us that). She will jabber away with anyone who looks in her direction and it usually provides everyone a good laugh, but she won't say any of those words when we ask her to if someone else is with us! Stinker!!
She loves going to the park...to sit on the bench. Airplanes and cars catch her attention when she is outside and every time she sees a baby, she will point and say baybee.
Brushing her teeth has become a favourite activity and i
f she sees us brushing our teeth she wants in on the fun too! Recently she has discovered pushing her stroller, so she likes to push it along on our walks. I bought her a little stroller and doll of her own and she will push it around the house and put different dolls/stuffed animals in it, or she will try to sit in it herself.
She likes to dance, but will quickly stop if you try to get it on camera...she'll stop whatever she is doing if the camera gets pulled out!!
Many hours can be spent playing with the shoes on the shoe rack, pulling them off, wearing them, hitting them together and sitting on the shoe rack. There is a lovely dip in the rack now from someone's little behind!
She usually gets bored by things pretty fast and will switch from one toy to another before you can blink an eye! Although she has spent the last half an hour emptying out, and playing with, everything from the bottle, baby item cupboard. She does like to open the cupboards!!
Every day is a little crazy with her, and she will usually provide you with a good laugh or two....even if it's just from her bedhead!
That's about it for this little update...she is just growing up and getting more of a little personality every day! If anyone ever wants to babysit...just let me know! :o)

Band Aids and Suckers
Well, we've reached the 15 month milestone. After a lot of crying and squirming (and that was just for the length and head measurement), the results are in!
Our little T is now a whopping 24 lbs 12 oz (78.15
percentile), she stands a staggering 32 1/4 inches tall (93.82 percentile - don't worry she'll top at around grade 6 or so) and her head comes in at 48 cm (94.78 percentile...with Mark's and my intelligence, is it any wonder she has a gigantic head??).
She wasn't a big fan of the 5 shots she got either, but quieted down pretty quick when given a paper cup of water and a sucker for the ride home.
And apparently a hot dog is the best thing she's ever tasted because I think she scarfed it down in about 3.6 seconds. Who knew?
