It's been a pretty busy week for our little Miss Tennyson. Not only has she been on a few shopping excursions and a Friday night trip to the DQ, she's taught herself a few new tricks!
Trick #1
Trick #1

Hand sucking, or sometimes hand eating. She appears to be quite good at it and it entertains her for hours on end. We're pretty sure she will be able to shove both fists in her mouth any day now. This is her futile attempt at succeeding at thumb sucking, but she doesn't quite seem to have figured it out yet.
Trick #2
Blowing/Making bubbles. Either that or she was bitten by a bat or some rabies infested neighbourhood dog. She sure does have a knack for the bubbles/spit. Perhaps it will keep her lips from getting chapped! The more likely reason for her overabundance of saliva would be that she inherited her Dad's penchant for drool.Trick #3
Sitting...albeit with the assistance of a large piece if foam. This is her "I'm justchillin' watching my shows" pose. Another thing she inherited from her Dad.Trick #4
Half rolling. She hasn't made it all the way over yet, but she is working on it! She is pretty good at combining the half roll with the hand sucking though. Only 10 weeks old and already a master at multi-tasking!! ** UPDATE** Only short hours after posting this, T mastered the full roll onto her stomach!! I was more than surprised and of course spent a good hour trying to catch it on film, but I will say she did it three times this afternoon! I don't know if she actually meant to or if the weight of her head just tipped her over, but I think we might have a prodigy on our hands!Who knows what she will accomplish in the next few weeks! Maybe how to pair a dress with the appropriate heel? You just never know!!
