So, it's been two months! Apparently this blog has become Doctor visit updates! Oh well, at least I will have it here if I never get around to the baby book.
another two months come and gone and here it what Marlowe's Gained (and sibling comparison):
Marlowe
Head 42.5 cm (83%)
Weight 16 lbs 3 oz (90%)
Height 25 3/4 inches (91)
Tennsyon
Head 41 cm (53%)
Weight 12 lbs 3 oz (20%)
Height 26 inches (97%)
Truman
Head 42 cm (42%)
Weight 12 lbs 7 oz (7.5%)
Height 27 inches (97)
So we've got one that actually has some meat on her bones!! Besides from having to do the (more than) occasional wiping of neck rolls....chubby babies are awesome! :o) I just want to smoosh her face with kisses all day long!
She is such a happy, content, smiley little girl. She rolls like nobody's business, wants to sit up so bad, loves to look around, smile at her sister and squawk and squeal whenever she can!
We love our little smooshy!! :o)
Let's face it, no one wants to hear about the parents. All they want are the kids, pictures of the kids to be exact. So here you go, all kids, all the time. Kind of like one of those cable news channels with a 24/7 ticker along the bottom.

Roly Poly
We visited our lovely Doctor today for Marlowe's 2 month check-up. She passed with flying colours!! She was even a champ for her 3 shots! She did better than her 2 year old brother did getting his flu shot!
Here are her stats:
Weight: 13 lbs 5 oz (94%) I was actually surprised by this number. I thought she weighed more!
Height: 25 inches (99%)
Head 41.5 cm (95%)
And for fun:
Tennyson
Weight: 10 lbs 10 oz (41%)
Height: 23.5 in (89%)
Head: 39.5 (68%)
Truman
Weight: 11 lbs 4 oz (34%)
Height: 25.5 in (99%)
Head: 40 cm (46%)
We apparently keep making kids bigger and bigger. At this rate, there will definitely NOT be a number 4!:o)
Marlowe is happy, smiley, a good sleeper (hit and miss napper - but what else is new), a good eater (let's keep it that way). She puts up with a lot of noise, love, grabby hands, invasion of personal space....everything that comes with having older siblings. She is also one roly poly little girl! We aren't used to baby with rolls and crevices! Her thighs just make you want to pinch them, forget the cheeks!!
Her baby acne cleared up nicely, but left her skin pretty chapped. She now has full on cradle cap too. She is the smooshiest, cutest little third baby I have ever had! I don't think she will be a cuddler, but that's expected. She is very alert, loves to hold her head up and look around, and smile at almost everyone she sees!
We love having her in the family and the T's love her so much!! We can't wait to see how her little personality will fit into the family! We love you Marlowe!

Preschool 2.0
Tennyson started another year of preK this year. She was excited!! But she also said she was a little scared because it was new teachers, a new classroom and kids she wouldn't know. Of course, when we get there, once her backpack was hung up, she was in the room without even a goodbye, a wave, a turn around and look at Mom and Dad one last time. Nope, right in and raring to go! I think I prefer that to clinging to my leg, crying, not wanting to go. No, we will have that when it is Truman's turn. Thankfully it won't be for a couple of years!
So, to document, here are the many faces of the first day of school (I will note that there are many more photos of Truman to this post, but his reaction was priceless...and it was Tennyson's second year of preK, so...I did take some when we dropped her off, but they are on my phone!!)

All excited and ready to go!!
What we found when we came home...
a very...
VERY,
VERY
inconsolable little brother. He didn't get why we left with her, but didn't come home with her!!
Marlowe couldn't have cared less.
Tennyson had a great first day and can't wait to go back. She asks me every day who is bringing snack, what they are doing, when is it her turn for snack...I hope her teachers are as great as her teachers were last year! And that they can handle a thousand questions an hour from this little girl!! Have a great year Miss T!!
Blessings
We had the opportunity to bless Marlowe this past Sunday. It was a wonderful blessing, minus the older brother's epic meltdown when Mark took his little sister away to give her the blessing. I think it is safe to assume Truman will have his sister's back as they grow up.
We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Smith AND Grandma and Grandpa Farmer here for the special day. Along with many friends. We are thankful and grateful for those of you who were there with us.
Everyone was decked out in their finest, newest, Sunday best. Except for Truman. Poor kid. They just don't seem to readily sell boys suits/dress shirts/ties around here. And of course Mom left it until the last minute so I couldn't even order anything online. Regardless, he still looked mighty handsome. We took a ton of photos, so here are some of them.

All the ladies
Some of the ladies and the boy
The ladies and Truman's finger
My handsome boy
Mom, Dad and the Babe
Mom and her lovely girls
The whole Fam!
The Blessee
Truman got upset that everyone, but him, was taking pictures...
So I gave him my camera
Then I made him get in the shot
There is always one of them making a "cheeze" face
Oh, if only you knew what it took to get him to be still long enough to press the button.
Back to the Blessee
Last one!

We Have Other Kids??
Oh right...we do have other kids!! How could I forget. I must be from the massive amount of quiet that I am experiencing in the house daily. HA!
Anyway. We do have two other wonderful, adorable, lovely rugrats nipping at our ankles, so I thought I would give them some of the spotlight.
Thankfully, they seem to be okay with not leaving the house very often. We've wandered over to the park, taken a walk or two, gone to the dentist, gone for ice cream...nothing too crazy. I'm not sure I am up for a random trip to Target, Costco, or any shopping with all three kids by myself!
A few weeks ago, our city held a community meeting in the park across the street from us. I figured we could manage that. So, after dinner, we put the shoes on the kids, I tucked Marlowe into the Moby and across the street we went.
There was a fire truck, a police car and a huge front end loader for the kids to climb in, look around and honk horns. Tennyson loved all of them! Truman, as much as he loves trucks, just wanted to look. It took a little coaxing to get him to check out the police car (hopefully it is the only time he is in the back of a police car...unfortunately, with who his father is...lol).
Other than that fun filled night, we've just hung out at home.
Oh, and hanging with Dora and Boots at the MOA.
And going to a birthday party at a great big inflatable play place.
But mostly just staying home. In our pjs.

One Month
I would love to report that Marlowe is talking, walking and has been accepted into the top ivy league University, but alas, none of it would be true. At one month, she's been working on perfecting the poopy diaper, rivaling her Dad in burping abilities, teeter tottering on sleeping 6 hours in a row, letting her big brother and sister love on her an awful lot (thankfully no one has lost an eye yet), and just being a "you're so cute, I could just squish you" baby.
The kids are good with her, and like to be near her, throw her diapers away, stare at her, kiss her, touch her, smell her...anything. We haven't had any real jealousy meltdowns or tantrums luckily.
Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.
