Marlowe Jane

Welcome to the family Marlowe!!

Marlowe joined us Wednesday, August 1st at 11:52 AM.  She weighed in at 9 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long.  She only made us wait two extra days to join our family.  I think it's because I told her she had to wait until August 1st, so that we had June, July and August birthdays!  Maybe it's a sign she already listens to her mom. :o)
Everything went well, no complications, a fairly quick and easy delivery.  We got to the hospital about 7AM, got checked in, checked out and we were on our way.  She probably would have been born a few hours earlier but due to Mom needing some doses of antibiotics, we hung out for 3 hours or so before the Doctor made the call that we just needed to get things going.  Once that happened, about twenty minutes later we had our little (or not so little) Marlowe.
Thankfully, even without the fill doses of antibiotics, Marlowe was healthy and we were able to finally go home and begin life as a family of five.
We are so blessed to have her in our family and can't wait to watch her grow, change and discover her personality!
