2024 here we come!!

We've reached another milestone...2 months! Tennyson had her well check-up yesterday and here are the results.
While T is far from winning the gold medal in weight gain, she's catching up to the crowd. She happily weighed in at a whopping 10 pounds 10 ounces (41st percentile) - up almost 3 pounds from her 2 week check up. Everyone still says she is pretty small though.
On the other end of the scale, T is in good contention for gold in the category of height. At her last check up she was 21.5 inches and we are happy to report she now stands at a staggering 23.5 inches (89th percentile). We've heard the Harlem Globetrotters, the US Olympic team and the Canadian Olympic team have been asking about her already. You can see that she's already started entertaining offers and will let us know as soon as she's made a decision. And even though we can't get her hats to stay put, her head is measuring in at 39.5 centimeters, or the 68th percentile.
Little T also put on a very brave face for the 3 shots she received..okay well it was more like a beet red, open mouth scream that any passerby could very well have mistaken for murder, but she was a little trooper and calmed down pretty quickly. We'll see if she remembers that mean old nurse when we go back in 2 months for the next round.
Overall the Doc says she is healthy and growing well, so we are happy with that.
T has now had her first prescription filled through Target and seems to be doing okay with Mom sticking a dropper in her mouth four times a day to get rid of a little bit of thrush, and also for some daily vitamin D.
She is a happy baby (as evident by the picture - obviously not taken right after the shots!), and I am a happy mom now that she seems to have mastered the sleeping 7 hours in a row at night! I don't know how long it will stay that way, or if we will be up every 3 hours tonight, but I will take what I can get when I get it!
