It's cold outside...and there are wolves

So it wasn't cold outside, but there were some wolves!!
We took T on her first trip to the zoo this weekend. We have wanted to go to the Minnesota Zoo since we moved here but we are just getting around to it. We met some friends there bright and early and started our adventure. Tennyson was more than excited to be there, so excited that she just couldn't bare to stay awake. In fact she couldn't even bare to stay awake to see the bears!! There is an exhibit called Russia's Grizzly Coast, and they have 3 bears at the zoo. It was quite fun to watch them swim and play. They are HUGE!
We also saw sea otters and wolves and monkeys and wild boars! Tennyson told us later that her favourite exhibit was the tigers.
The zoo didn't have as many exhibits or animals as other zoos we have been to, but they have a really nice zoo with lots of room for the animals that are there. There were no polar bears or penguins, but they did have prairie dogs, and who doesn't like a prairie dog? They also had some bison, but the bison were too busy "playing" with each other to entertain the spectators...although Mark was quite entertained, but he wasn't quick enough to capture it on film. Maybe next time!
We did get some cute pics of T in her rockin' sunglasses, but we're not that technically savvy to get them off of the camera phone...we'll get there, just not today. So here are a couple pics of T around the house, and one of the prairie dogs, because everyone loves prairie dogs!
