Status Update

4 months in....here's where we stand:

Weight: 12 pounds 7 ounces/7.5 percentile

Height: 27 inches/ 97 percentile

Head: 42cm/ 42 percentile

Another long 'n' lean one.  I don't know where these kids get it from!

Other than the skinny minniness, Truman is a happy, healthy little guy who now gets to have formula, rice cereal and in a couple weeks move onto to veggies and fruit.  Something has to fatten this one up!

 Ahhhh, that's better.

When Truman has been fed, he is a happy, fun little guy.  He loves to watch his sister run around like crazy.  He loves having the Wheels on the bus sung to him.  His favourite chew toy is his hand(s), and kind of likes the crinkly elephant head.  He much prefers to be held than to sit in his chair, swing or bumbo, but will if he has to for a short amount of time.  He is always on the go, legs moving like he is running away from wild dogs!  He is a rolling machine and will start as soon as you lay him down.  He is a good night sleeper but doesn't seem to enjoy naps during the day.  You definitely have to walk, rock, jump, swing and dance this guy to sleep, none of this drift off to sleep baby thing for him!  He is still sleeping in his car seat but we are going to try to get him into his crib.  It will mean a few long nights, but the kid can't sleep in a car seat when he is 14!

We sure love having him in our family even if he does put the kibosh on shopping trips, car rides and going out.  It's alright...his smile (and pout) will melt your heart, so it's worth it!

He'll be back to the Doctor in two weeks just so he can check his weight, so we will see if all this extra food he gets makes a difference!
